7th Annual "Strollin' for the Colon" Walk/Run to Benefit Colon Cancer Education & Research

UR Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology will sponsor the 7th annual Strollin’ for the Colon 5K Walk/Run beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, at Geneseo Central School, 4050 Avon Rd., Geneseo. This event will help support colon cancer research at UR Medicine's Wilmot Cancer Institute, as well as cancer awareness programs through UR Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the Livingston County Cancer Services Program, and the Cancer Services Program of Monroe County.

Registration for the 5K is $25 per person in advance, $30 the day of the race, and includes chip timing and snacks before and after the race. The event will also feature a kids run that will follow the main race, gastroenterology specialists on hand to provide information and answer questions, food available to purchase, a silent auction and raffles from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and live music featuring the band Trilogy.
