Demonstrations of different processes of making maple syrup will be ongoing throughout each day, including iron pot boiling, Iroquois stone boiling, and the use of a modern evaporator. Environmental educators will lead guided walks to the sugarbush where maple trees have been tapped and visitors can learn how maple sap is collected.
To-go pancake breakfasts will be available for purchase each day thanks to the Friends of Letchworth State Park. Only cash or check is accepted for pancake breakfast purchases. Picnic tables will be provided outdoors on the grounds of the Humphrey Nature Center.
