The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce proudly presents "The Shops of Livingston County". The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce has developed an innovative way to continue holiday traditions in a new way and let shoppers virtually walk through shops and interact with store owners in an immersive new technology.
The Chamber hired a designer to create a virtual Main Street of Shops - complete with snow, holiday lights, Christmas trees, fireside chat areas and even Santa will be at "The Shops" to visit with children! Store owners are able to walk shoppers "face to face" through the store at their own pace, looking at individual items while being able to answer any questions in real time. There will be special shopping events and opportunities throughout the season (Midnight Madness, Experience Nights, Food & Beverage Nights and more!)
The Shops of Livingston County is a cutting edge, inventive use of the REMO platform - a platform all about, authentic social interactions. The Chamber is applying the knowledge and experience they’ve gained through the use of Remo, and employing innovative new ways to connect the community during a time when many are still disconnected.
The experience invites customers to relax with a cup of cocoa as they shop virtually with friends and family from any where in the world at their favorite Livingston County stores and embrace a “main street during the holidays” vibe from the comfort of their home. It is a way to support local small businesses and Shop Local this holiday season!
