"Changes to the Longhouse" by Gerry Ground of the Onondaga Nation
The arrival of European settlers changed Haudenosaunee lifestyles tremendously. How they adapted to this changing environment is the focus of this presentation. Trade for beaver pelts between Native peple and European settlers will be highlighted, along with the introduction of new goods and ideas.
