"Ripple Effects of Invasive Species" by Suann Yang, Assistant Professor at SUNY Geneseo. While a non-native invasive species can have enormous effects on the habitat it is invading, the success of an invader can also rely on its interactions with the other species in that habitat. This talk will explain why some non-native species become naturalized. The presentation will include several non-native plants that are common to Letchworth State Park and other areas of Western New York.
