Junior Achievement
Volunteer with Junior Achievement through Education to Employment
Education to Employment is a proud partner of Junior Achievement. We, like Junior Achievement, believe in "possible."
"Each day, we work to help young people discover what's possible in their lives. We do this by helping them connect what they learn in school with life outside the classroom. We let them know it's possible to invest in their future, to gain a better understanding of how the world works, and to pursue their dreams. We show them that it's possible for tomorrow to be a better day."
Capstone Programming
Volunteer to Be Trained as an Elementary Presenter
K-12 Programming
Junior Achievement's proven lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship are shown to positively impact the lives of young people. These lessons align with national and state educational standards.
Elementary
Junior Achievement’s elementary school programs are the foundation of its K-12 curricula. Six sequential themes, each with five hands-on activities, work to change students’ lives by helping them understand business and economics. Typically delivered by community professional volunteers, these 45-minute lessons are presented over the course of several weeks.
Middle School
Middle School programs offer a multidisciplinary approach that connect learning across social studies disciplines, such as economics, geography, history, government, and civics, while incorporating mathematical concepts and reasoning and language arts skills. These lessons are delivered by classroom educators.
High School
High school programs expand the connections from the classroom to the adult world to prepare students for success through programs like JA Take Stock in Your Future, JA Be Entrepreneurial, JA Economics, JA Finance Park, and JA Titan, to name a few. Many of the programs at the middle and high school level feature capstone activities that allow students to apply their learning to dynamic and engaging simulations. These lessons are delivered by classroom educators.
