



Hey FLX Foodies! The FLX West Food Fest 2026 planning is officially underway and we're ready to design the most delicious workshops to add to the day's already incredible activities!
We're looking for fun, hands-on, and inspiring workshop ideas that celebrate food, drink, and the amazing Finger Lakes Western region.
What culinary skills or topics are on your bucket list to learn or master? We're excited to hear suggestions across all areas! Do you have a skill you would like to share in a workshop?
- Baking Deep Dive: Sourdough starter? Laminated doughs (croissants/puff pastry)? FLX fruit pies?
- Regional Flavors: Cooking with local craft beer/cider? FLX cheese & charcuterie board building? Seasonal vegetable prep?
- Skill Building: Mastering sauces, perfect fermentation, or homemade pasta? How to use that Air Fryer? Blackstone cooking tips? Cake or Cookie Decorating?
- Drinks & Libations: Cocktail making using local spirits? Wine/Food pairing 101?
